We phoned them up to book an appointment, explain our requirements and find out some more. The initial conversation explained that they could send the suits for us to the hotel we would be staying at prior to the wedding and all we had to do was get them sent back again. This instantly sounded like a brilliant idea as we had envisaged having to tackle the airline for additional baggage allowance which we weren’t looking forward to. They also had a good selection of stock and the men could make their own appointments to have a fitting. This was also a boon as the men lived 100 miles apart and would not be able to all attend at the same time.
The following Saturday, Bride, Groom and Best Man attended Hugh Harris. We allowed 3 hours for the parking as we figured there could be a lot to discuss and try on. We went in with our requirements, and 45 minutes later, the Groom and Best Man were getting the thumbs up from the Bride. Steve was on fire that day, he just said, try this waist coat, that jacket, those cufflinks etc, etc, and voila, the perfect outfit was chosen. We’ve had more pain buying shoes! The whole process was entertaining, painless and dare we say it, enjoyable!
Over the next month, the remaining men got in for a fitting and had their outfits organised. Then in February we got married in Austria. We arrived at the hotel and were told that our package had arrived. There we found the suits, shoes, shirts etc all boxed up and ready to go. After the wedding, we reboxed the lot, took it to the post office and sent them all back – how easy was that? Dead easy!!
All we can say is, Hugh Harris is brilliant and we would recommend them to anyone looking for suit hire.
